Every night right on dusk the digital television channels are all busted up from some interference. Unlike analog television, when the digital signal is not perfect it simply ceases to pick up anything. I have no idea what that is about but it is a hassle. It can go quite late into the night and next morning. I would not have anything on the screen if I hadn’t used a hybrid card with two tuners so I could still have analog. Made a good decision there (to my surprise)

The big black dog is eating away at me again. I have to keep thinking of all the pain it caused my ma and brother when Robbie took his life. Otherwise I would be there with him and happier for it.

I am really annoyed by the new association laws so I sent off for a t-shirt to support the cause.The Rebels had quite a good generic one on their web site so I grabbed that

Slowly working on a drawing. I was going to call it bamboo dragon but it is more like a design with a lizard. I like it, it is peaceful and a bit unexpected. It is 5 foot by three foot in the old sizes. It is on a sheet of thin ply that was the back an old cupboard. It was a hand-made piece of furniture that was made in Malaysia, owned by someone from the Air Force and probably came to Australia in a military transport or by ship as it still had all the shipping details on the back when I got it.  The drawing is graphite, watercolor pencil and acrylic. It is just kinda growing on that old bit of timber. I had no plan and just started scratching away because I enjoyed the feeling of making the marks. It was an absolutely awful bit of ply and the rough surface eats pencils but it really is satisfying to work on. Actually it is a real pleasure. I will have to get some more ply
