Brown water

It came out of the taps when I went to brush my teeth this morning!

I would have liked to sleep all day but things run towards their climaxes. I went up the street and spent some time chewing the fat and drinking coffee with a few friends which I badly needed to do. I was getting jumpy and a little stressed. They all offered to help get the scooter tire fixed but in the end it goes to the shop and will be paid for on account. It is hard not to appreciate their good will though. It is one of the things I like about this town and the reasons i am fighting to stay here.

yes, its a tire and a wheel

yes, its a tire and a wheel

I went to the trouble of taking the tire off the machine so I could fix it myself but I cannot find the tire repair kit or the tire iron and apparently the local mechanics who fix car tires just look at little scooter tires and shake their heads. Something to grab at Bunnings next time.

So far the stationery and supplies to deal with the Tribunal have cost significantly more than two hundred dollars and over a hundred pages of data have been generated as I try to find the best way to make my point and new medical data turns up.

I was so shagged earlier I was shaking like a leaf. I have been working on this stuff all day since midday so I can have the data in to the Tribunal by the due date and I am paying for the effort. My face and chest have had something like pins and needles going on. I think that is my heart giving me one big warning. Anyway I stopped a while ago. I slept an hour or so during the process. My body just turned off and by the time I realised I was asleep I was waking up some time later. It didn’t feel too bad. I have a monster headache now. I should not do posts when I am this far gone.

Someone will notice the shabby sink. It is the one the house came with for so long all the taps are rusted and the sink is de laminating while the body of the thing is of chipboard and that is disintegrating as well. The owner told me he would replace it as a part of the fix he did to stop the leaking shower but like the shower curtain \rails it never got done. I was going to offer to pay for a really nice chunky single mixer tap that suits the style of bathroom and then it could have been plumbed in with the sink. The sink was to have been a simple pedestal sink that also had a retro style. There are plenty of cheap ones that are suitable at Bunnings and I was hoping he would allow me to pick that as well so I could match it all up. Not happening! Anyway that was today. I had to walk up the street to today. I managed it without too much loss of dignity but now the lower half of my body and limbs feel as though they are wrapped in a bandage of cold pain and I cannot get it to recede enough to sleep. I had forgotten about this. It was nights where I was awake with pain years back that the insomnia series of drawings and paintings grew from.
