I suppose this beetle is some enemy of some crop or plantation. I think it is beautiful though. It was seen today on a path near here.

The morning was started at about 9:15 with a phone call to Wyong legal aid. They told me I should get myself over to the Wyong Court House, or I think that was where I had to go, and see the duty lawyer. The idea is to pop along at 9:am or so and tell them you need to see them and at some point they will get to you. The earliest that can happen is on Friday the 13th of April as Good Friday comes in there somewhere.

I was hoping for a bit more than that so I called Law Access. They told me the best way to get advice was to speak to a lawyer and the best way to speak to a lawyer was to pop along to the Friday line-up at the court house (or wherever it is held) and ask there. That is still quite a difficult and painful option for a disabled person.

My case worker from ADSSI arrived and we worked on the written application for a legal aid grant. I keep thinking I am on top of things but she finds all sorts of things I have not thought of. We worked on it for almost two hours. Typing out statements and going over evidence and getting all the medical documents in order. I handled the whole lot reasonably well back when it started a few weeks ago but this time I just kinda slumped in my seat. I do not have the energy and clarity of thought to get through the documents and would have been hopeless getting this last set of data sent out on my own. I will have a siesta in a few minutes as I just keep running down and staring off into space at the moment. My case worker has given me a couple of more avenues to contact to get better informed before the hearing date. Tomorrow!
