Open note to the NSW Fire Brigade Members operating out of Budgewoi Fire Station.

On Saturday the 25th of February two members stationed at Budgewoi Fire Station on the Central Coast of NSW snuck up behind a handicapped man standing next to a mobility scooter and assaulted him. They then lied about their actions. The man was, and is still, seriously injured.

Like everyone I see a man or woman in a uniform when I see a first responder. Now when I see that uniform I know that behind it may be a devious and dishonest bushwhacker and I do not want my wallet pinched or my dog raped by people who enter my life during a period of disaster. You all look the same to me and I know some of you cannot be trusted to deal with vulnerable people at vulnerable times. If you see me bleeding in the street or catch fire in the park BUGGER OFF. And if you need to attack another vulnerable person, well, we would rather you didn’t. We used to trust you!
