I was thinking about wearing pyjamas everywhere for a while. So many of the people we are dealing with are arseholes and there doesn’t seem to be a need to be as well-dressed for them. The news was scary. The governement is now so desperate they are counting the people in public housing and kicking them out if they have spare rooms. Then there was the horrifying story about the tests by Centrelink that involve them telling people where they can spend money and what on. I would lose my internet and most everything. I do without food and all sorts of things to be able to make art. Authoritarian Australia. I guess that was inevitable. So many of us sit on our hands and bitch at the television and no matter you may think that is not actually taking a stand.

Just read a book by Dean Koontz called False Memory. It was a good read although the first few chapters are hard going. Before that there was the Treasure of Khan by Clive Cussler. All pulp but time filling and it takes my mind off the vicious morons. The current book is Mercenaries by Len Deighton. Something I know a little about.

One of the things I love about macro photography is the light of the micro habitat. Each tiny part of the world is a world and the plant or rock or whatever all have their own quality of light they share with things close to them. I love the ability I get from the camera to slip right into that world. I have always loved that place
