Award for the World’s Dumbest Outlaws. March 2009

It has to go the Australian Commancheros for their murderous bashing of a Hell’s Angel in the Sydney airport terminal doesn’t it!

The New South Wales Government is already looking for any support it can get to install draconian laws about consorting into their legislative base. They have been after an excuse to attack bikie groups for some years now and now would be the ideal time for sensible bikers who wish to continue their life styles to be a little discreet. Anytime is a bad time for creating public mayhem at an airport terminal and yet our slow-witted villains of the Commanchero type have managed to do both in spades.

I am sure all of those sensible people who think there is a time and place for such things will be wanting to thank the Commancheros for another testosterone sodden, brain-dead voyage into the adventurous world of sustained police and public suppression and the new laws and initiatives that will come of this and make all our lives so much more interesting. Those of us who feel that resorting to murder is a crazy and pathetic failure of intelligent processes will be that mu7ch more shocked by the choice of venues.

There will even be questions of “why now” as though the Commancheros have decided to work as the government’s servants or perhaps there are undercover provocateurs in their ranks (and they are just too dumb to see how big a pack of dopes they have to be to go the route they did)

There is plenty of history to learn from if you have the ability to read and care enough to want to know. Even the great American wing of the Mafia ended up being scarred and going legit after it was named and shamed publicly. Very few of the outlaws in this world will survive the full glare of publicity and the total assault on their activities that comes from scaring the public and shaming the Federal Police as they did at the air terminal.

They have done enough to be named as a terrorist organization. Many of us would legitimately fight the general naming of Bike Clubs as terrorist organisations but if they decided to name just the Commancheros I think a lot of us would find it hard to refute the decision or find the energy to fight it too hard except to prevent it spilling over generally. In the light of the Government’s and media’s past histories we can expect hysteria rather than good decisions.

The Commancheros have virtually assured that everybody who ever even went to a biker party is under suspicion. Guys with good, legit businesses will lose goodwill and maybe security ratings. It will be impossible, for a while, for ex-bikeys to get jobs that require police searches or good security ratings.

What a pack of mutts.
