Salticids. Jumping Spiders

Salticids have some of the best vision among all invertebrates. Their eyes are among the important identifying features. They normally move slowly and cautiously but are capable of sudden bursts of speed and many can make long jumps. The description of Salticid on Wikipedia is excellent. Members of this family can be found living on window ledges and walls and in gardens. They wander in and out of the apartment hunting all the bugs that flow in past the crooked insect screens
